After spending ten years playing professional basketball in Europe and South America, Kendrick returned to Gwinnett County and began his career with State Farm in 2014. He opened his Lawrenceville office in 2017.

Kendrick is an active member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and serves as Co-President of The Suwanee Network. His office has qualified for State Farm Honor Club and Ambassador Club recognition.
